The Continental Coaches Committee runs various seminars by invitation for our member nations and is authorized to accredit member nations coaches up to Continental Coach level 3.

All our member nations are invited to compete in the 11th African Archery Championship & African Continental Qualifying Tournament for the Rio 2016 Olympics to be held in Windhoek (NAM) 28-31 January 2016. We look forward to welcoming you all to Namibia.

The Federation is the Continental governing body for the sport of archery on the African Continent and is recognized by a number of international bodies, including the the World Archery Federation, the African Continental Olympic Committee and the African Commonwealth Archery Committee.

The role of the Federation of African Archery is to ensure development of the sport on the African Continent and to provide the infrastructure and know-how for member nations to develop the sport.
It's prime focus is to ensure that all member nations runs at least one national tournament a year, develop the sport at all levels, provide a growing capacity for both judges and coaches development; and to be the link between the international federation, World Archery.
The FAA approves all levels of continental judges and coaches for further escalation to international level.
